Teaser Tuesday

This is a weekly meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
•Grab your current read
•Open to a random page
•Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
•BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
•Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

I bought The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown over a year ago I think and I still haven't taken a single look inside. That's me and I don't care. Well, I do care, but it's not about me right now. Here's my teaser:

Langdon felt like he had just emerged from some kind of subterranean birth canal. Born again. He turned immediately to Katherine. "Are you okay?"
Her eyes were red, and she had obviously been crying, but she nodded with a resolute stoicism.

I haven't read anything from this book, so now I'm really exited. Although I did think the movies were sort of mwaah, if you know what I mean. The Davinci Code did baffle me but the story wasn't that amazing. Angels & Demons is simply an amazing title and I loved how they ran through Rome. I was there half a year later and we visited a lot of the sites where they filmed and it was fun! :)

So how about you? What's your teaser and what did you think of the two Dan Brown books?
