She's a great author. A long while back I read The Mysteries of Udolpho. I thought it wonderful. I'd give it another try. If it doesn't work out, don't worry about it. Reminds me of The Monk by Matthew Lewis (18...Yikes. Reminds me of The Monk by Matthew Lewis (18th century Gothic)...the language can be a pain, but there was still a decent story underneath...I find that it helps to read aloud, oh so dramatically. Makes it more fun.<br /><br />And complain all you want.
