Or unique. I am though pleased at this moment very much.
When Sally-as-Anne clapped her eyes on me those first times, well, magic it was. This was my initial exposure to Sally's creativeness. One tends to keep such things--these first experiences--right on top.

Anyway, please see Marty (MGM, 1955), do. Netflix has it. There's astonishing fourth-wall momemts here too. I'm certain you'll understand.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6022230834119760805.post-52440494410989475002014-12-01T20:52:04.828+00:002014-12-01T20:52:04.828+00:00This was my first 'Persuasion' adaptation ...This was my first 'Persuasion' adaptation so it's the one I love! I think it's definitely worth a re-watch and especially when paying a closer look at how they film it because there's just so much there that you can pick up on. And interestingly, the cinematography choices really influence your reading of the novel as well!
Thanks for commenting, I always enjoy your comments :DJuli Rahelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15367150240867758577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6022230834119760805.post-2696140332901795942014-12-01T02:04:13.762+00:002014-12-01T02:04:13.762+00:00I saw this film several years ago and liked it, al...I saw this film several years ago and liked it, although I still preferred the 1995 BBC production with Amanda Root and CiarĂ¡n Hinds. Your excellent analysis has made me want to re-watch it. It's very interesting that for most viewers, the story of Wentworth and Anne is very familiar; creating suspense for viewers who know the book well must have been quite a challenge. It sounds as though the filmmakers succeeded, which is a great achievement.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6022230834119760805.post-38667296060430343552014-11-30T07:08:27.276+00:002014-11-30T07:08:27.276+00:00I have only ever read two Jane Austen novels, bein...I have only ever read two Jane Austen novels, being this one as Persuasion and my all time favourite classic - Mansfield Park. But I still have to watch this! I look forward to when I get my hands on it because it sounds like a good adaption. I didn't like the book of this one too much, but hopefully I will enjoy this more!

Check out my latest post: http://olivia-savannah.blogspot.nl/2014/11/recommended-reads-november-2014.htmlOlivia's Catastrophehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12706765857201768908noreply@blogger.com
